在英文裡有許多和吃與食物有關的片語,使用起來往往能為文章添加不少"風味"!
今天讓我們來認識這些常用的片語及字彙希,望同學們能開始使用在自己的寫作或會話中
根據美國教育部 (U.S Department of Education) 的研究指出,我們的大腦必須至少暴露17次在新字彙之後才能將其內化.
當然,前提是內化必須在搭配前後文及其前後脈絡下 (in the context) 進行背誦才會有效. 千萬不要落入了流傳已久"背字典"的巢臼; 廣讀與使用才是學習背誦字彙或片語的不二王道.
現在讓我們來介紹今天的食物主題片語吧!
1. cream of the crop 出類拔萃的 (直譯: 最上面的奶油)
